Sim-Lab GT1

Hi guys
I’ve had the Sim Lab GT1 cockpit for a month now and I’m happier with the purchase every day. I enjoy it every second I use it. I recommend it 100%…
I have it assembled with an augury osw and a HS pedal board (which I also bought through Carlos) and it’s very robust, it doesn’t have the slightest vibration. Very easy to assemble and super modular to find the best driving position.
If you are interested in purchasing an aluminium profile cockpit, this product will not disappoint you. In addition to all that has been said, we must add the magnificent treatment and advice that you will receive from Carlos. The after-sales service is magnificent, any problem or doubt that arises, Carlos is there to solve it.

Hello…I’m not going to tell you anything new that the rest haven’t already told you.

My project started to be manufactured at the end of November, I was unmotivated with what is sold on planet earth, an alcantara playseat and G27 that humbly gave me very good times and got me hooked on this wonderful world of racing.

What Carlos Casas projects on his website helps a lot to get you started at a much higher level, you have to read a lot, then build everything in your head, logically do the numbers, it’s not a cheap world, but it’s better than sharing a racing car and not being able to press the exhaust in the middle of a curve, they make the economic result worth it if you love this wonderful world.

In my case I wanted a cockpit that would give me lifetime guarantees, I asked Carlos for quotes, between Genesis and Sim Lab, and finally I ended up with the Sim Lab GT1 chassis. At the beginning of January I requested the cockpit, logically at that time it took quite a while due to the factory being closed for two weeks, it arrived at the beginning of February, because of all the delay Carlos was attentive to me. The cockpit assembly is not complicated, you just have to put together some furniture from our beloved Ikea to be able to start with guarantees and ease, anyway if you have doubts, Coach will solve it for you and send you plans, he is on top of everything. My opinion of both the Sim Lab GT1 cockpit and the external support for three screens is impressive, too robust and without play, there are no cons of any kind.

After experiencing a good purchase and confidence with Carlos Casas, I was encouraged with the Augury Kit, it is what this aluminum profile is missing, a good engine. The OSW contact is Jesus, you reserve the first part of the engine and its box and when they send it to you, you pay for the second part. I’m writing this and I think they’ve changed their website so that you can buy it without waiting as was my case, another point in their favor.

The kit is plug&play, some papers so you can see how the engine shaft is centered, some small tips for the EMI problems that these Panzers of the war tend to transmit and a few tips that you should look at on the Simracingcoah website so that everything goes clean and as silky from the first day.
If you have more problems, send an email to Jesus and he will answer you quickly. OSW opinion, very surprised with what he transmits, I still have to experiment, but the sensations are very good and it doesn’t make any noise.

Finally, the pro pedals from Heuksinveld E. ordered from Coach and in three working days at home via UPS.

What can I say about these pedals? The price is worth it when you step on the brake, what a blast… and the overall feel of the three is overwhelming. Its configuration is not complicated, everything is done through the Diview executable file. Carlos makes things very easy for you and answers all questions at any time of the day.

Gentlemen… do not continue reading… the treatment of both Carlos Casas and Jesus Perez is PERFECT, especially the after-sales service of products like the ones I have bought, Sim Lab GT1 cockpit, Augury OSW, HE pro pedals.

I wish you the best, thank you very much for everything.

Everything was fine, easy to assemble, adjustable in every way, modular, possibility of inverting the pedals… in short, what more could you ask for, and of course, great advice and attention from Carlos, 100% recommended.

Hi guys.
In January I received my Sim-Lab GT1 cockpit and I can only say wonders.
It came in two packages, one with the profiles and the other with the piece to hold the steering wheel and the piece to support the backet (which I also bought).
Once you download the instructions from their website everything is quite simple.
It is true that in the end you spend all afternoon assembling the cockpit (so that everything is square) but it is very easy.
The joining pieces that slide along the profile rails are amazing. They have a little ball that pushes the piece and prevents it from falling off the rail.
You move it with your hand, place it and the screw goes in very easily.
The brackets have a tab system that you can remove if you need to, giving you the option to change the design. They fit perfectly.
Little by little you assemble everything and in a few hours you have a fantastic cockpit.
Finally, you hide all the ends of the profiles and brackets with the plastic caps, giving it a very, very professional look.
I modified the original design a little, adapting it to my needs (higher seat, lower pedals), but since everything is modular…, no problems.
I use it with the OSW from augury AND IT DOESN’T MOVE AT ALL.
It is super robust and the profiles of both the base and the steering column being 80 and 120 mm make the whole thing look perfect.

The backet support is very good, it fits perfectly and with the adjustable slots it has, you can give it that inclination you are looking for to make it comfortable.

My HS pedals fit perfectly (even without the HS plate) since they are screwed directly to the profiles if you want.

In short, a very successful purchase.

Greetings.

I use it with the Augury OSW Simucube Kit and it doesn’t move or give an inch when I put it at 100%. Easy to assemble (I followed this video although it’s not exactly the same: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EDKgqEYhpB0 ) very intuitive and with really good finishes. You can adjust the height and depth of the steering wheel, pedals (I think the pedals can even be reversed) and the position of the bucket seat. It comes with a lot of screws, I have plenty left over for future updates and with a line that I really like (this was very important for me because of the place where I had to put it). What I also really like is being able to add things as you need them, it always gives you room for it.

I asked Carlos if the P1 was necessary for the OSW and he told me that this one was more than enough and so it was. The moment I picked up the package with the profiles, just by its weight I could see that it was a serious matter. Perhaps it would be good if each profile came wrapped in separate plastic so that they did not rub against each other during transport. I highly recommend it.
